More than 2,000 companies from 43 countries around the world participated in Asia's largest cosmetics and beauty exhibition, making "UltraCol" a hit in the Asian market

Bio-medical beauty group UltraV (CEO Hanjin Kwon) announced that it participated in the Cosmoprof Asia Hong Kong 2023 beauty fair held at the Hong Kong Convention Center from the 15th to the 17th.

Cosmoprof Asia Hong Kong, which marks its 26th anniversary this year, is Asia's largest cosmetics and beauty exhibition, and it is the world's top three beauty fairs and Asia's largest, with more than 2,000 participants and 40,000 visitors every year. As it is held in Hong Kong for the first time in three years after COVID-19, visitors visited the exhibition hall, up about 30 percent from the previous one.

At the fair, which involved more than 2,000 companies from 43 countries around the world, UltraV showcased all products, including its own technology medical material PDO, PCL melting thread, Idebenon Cosmetics line, European CE-certified medical equipment which are Tridermm, Hifu Plus, and Colasty.

​UltraV welcomed domestic and foreign buyers by showcasing its differentiated technologies and devices to numerous visitors at the fair, especially in Asia, South America, the Middle East, and Europe, and drew positive responses from local buyers to UltraCol, which was approved in countries around the world and certified in the global market.

​UltraCol, UltraV's main item, is a microsphere made of PDO (POLIDIOXANONE) ingredients registered with the FDA, which promotes the production of self-collagen by foreign substance reaction, and later decomposes to improve volume, lifting, and elasticity by collagen.

​By optimizing the size of spherical fine particles, the shortcomings of other procedures with pointed crystals were supplemented, and PDO, the main component of UltraCol, has been used as a surgical melting chamber for more than 30 years, proving biodegradability and safety in the human body.

In addition, it was the first polymer filler to win the IR52 Jang Young-sil Award, obtained the Korean Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) and European CE certification, and was selected as the Korea's best patent award and next-generation world-class product for its unrivaled patent technology.

"During the fair, Chinese and Hong Kong buyers as well as officials from all over the world, including Asian countries, Europe and South America, visited the booth to realize the popularity of K-beauty," an UltraV official said. "As each country has shown a lot of interest, we are looking forward to future export contracts and will actively communicate to target overseas markets."

​Meanwhile, the company will continue to participate in major overseas exhibitions in the future while accelerating its entry into the Asian market based on the Chinese market, and aims to increase sales growth and awareness through the introduction of new products and technologies.
