Strengthen exports to South America, the Middle East, and Europe 

Bio-medical beauty group UltraV announced on the 7th that it has obtained the permit in Hong Kong for ‘UltraCol’, the world’s first certified PDO (Polydioxanone) filler with its own technology. Ultra V plans to increase its grip on the local market for UltraCol with this approval.

Until now, 'ULTRACOL' has been approved and exported to countries around the world, including Asia, South America, the Middle East, and Europe. As its effectiveness has been recognized in the global market, it will continue to enhance its corporate competitiveness by focusing on clinical trials and item approval for local entry.

Ultracol is a microsphere biostimulator made of PDO (POLYDIOXANONE), an ingredient approved by the FDA. Based on patented technology, it helps improve volume, lifting, and elasticity by stimulating collagen production. It was the only polymer filler to receive the IR52 Jang Young-sil Award, its efficacy, biodegradability and stability in the human body have been proven, and it obtained approval from the Korean Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) and European CE certification.

An Ultra V official said, “It is significant in that it is the first achievement to prove the quality, safety, and effectiveness of Ultracol in an advanced country in medical devices and that product approval was received quickly in about a year after applying for permission in Hong Kong. With this entry into Hong Kong, UltraCol's overseas market penetration will gain more momentum."
