Bio-medical beauty group UltraV (CEO Hanjin Kwon) received a commendation from Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon at the ‘2023 Hi Seoul Company Festival’ held at the Fairmont Ambassador Seoul in Yeouido on Dec. 7.

The '2023 Hi Seoul Company Festival' is an opportunity to share the outstanding performance of Hi Seoul companies of the year, declare the vision of Hi Seoul companies, and hold an honorary graduation ceremony. More than 300 companies participated in the Festival, including Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, CEO Kim Hyun-woo of the Seoul Business Agency (SBA), and Hi-Seoul Biz Company Association President Kim Jin-seok.

On this day, awards were given to 20 companies in four categories, including exports, job creation, social contribution, and companionship. Ultra V was selected in the 'Export' category as the best company of the year for revitalizing the Seoul’s economy by creating excellent management performance in difficult economic conditions. He received a certificate and
plaque from Mayor of Seoul Oh Se-hoon.

An official from Ultra V said, “We are pleased that our contribution to increasing exports, which we have been striving for, has been recognized through this 2023 Hi Seoul Excellent Company Award,” adding, “In order to expand exports to the global medical beauty market, we will strive to become a company that promotes K-beauty technology worldwide.” 

Among Ultra V's main export items, 'UltraCol', the world's first product made of PDO (polydioxanone) ingredients, is a product applied with Ultra V's unique patented technology. This product is manufactured by processing the PDO ingredient, which have already been proven to be safe, into spherical microspheres. It can be injected into the human body with a syringe. After injection, the concentration of collagen increases at the injection site, improving skin elasticity and whitening, as well as providing an additional lifting effect, resulting in high levels of user satisfaction.

In recognition of this technological prowess, we have been verified from the Korean ministry of Food and Drugs Safety(KFDA) and Europe CE certification. Starting with the 'IR52 Jang Yeong Sil Prize' for exclusive patent technique, this technology has been recognized for technological prowess and potential in overseas markets through awards such as the Korea Patent Grand Prize, choice as a Next Generation World', and award in the innovative medical device industry development category.

Meanwhile, Ultra V recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to enter the mainland Chinese market in earnest, starting with Hainan. The plan is to leverage the brand awareness previously built up with 'UltraCol' to grow it into a typical beauty medical device of K-beauty, while also accelerating its entry into the mainland Chinese market by successfully entering the Hainan market.
